When you hear interviews with people who’ve had paranormal or near-death experiences, do you find yourself bursting with questions you’d love to ask them? Or when you read a book by a psi researcher, do you wish you could just sit down with them and pick their brain?

On Monday, August 19, 2024, I’ll be hosting the Mind & Meaning Institute’s first Meeting of the Minds online conversation series! Every other month, MMI will be inviting a well-known experiencer or researcher to join an intimate gathering of 20 Zoom attendees and devote an hour and a half to doing nothing but answering their questions. And you’re invited to be part of the conversation!

Our inaugural event will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, with near-death experiencer and precognitive dreamer Elizabeth Krohn. You may have recently seen her on Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown or the Shaman Oaks YouTube channel. When she was struck by lightning at age 28, Elizabeth found herself in heaven talking with someone she strongly suspected was God. She learned amazing things about the universe and was also told facts about the future, like who the next president was going to be and who would win the Super Bowl! When she returned to her body, not only did those predictions prove true, but her life became an avalanche of increasingly unsettling experiences. Besides sensing spirits, seeing auras, and having a bizarre new relationship to electricity, Elizabeth began to have alarming precognitive nightmares. Many of them were dreams of tragic plane crashes, which Elizabeth saw in great detail—often with airline names, flight numbers, the number of passengers aboard, and even some of the passengers’ names. MMI’s second guest, on Monday, October 14, 2024, will be Dr. Scarlett Heinbuch, a Reiki healer who met her husband, David, in a shared near-death experience. You may have seen her on the History Channel’s The UnXplained or at the Archives of the Impossible conference at Rice University. Scarlett began doing energy work on David when they were complete strangers and all she knew about him was that he was comatose, in multiple organ failure, and expected to pass on at any time. While working with him, Scarlett found herself suddenly out of her body and present with David’s spirit in a realm of incredible love. Despite never having met each other on earth, they suddenly felt they knew each other deeply. This energy work and otherworldly meeting resulted in David’s miraculous recovery. When David woke from his coma, he knew that Scarlett was going to be his wife. And Scarlett and David have been married for the past 18 years!
